Returns Policy

This Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all refund-related matters for RIDEE and forms part of the agreement between you (“User”) and RIDEE. By using RIDEE’s services, you agree to the terms of this Policy, which outlines the circumstances, procedures, and timelines for refunds.

 

Refund Eligibility

RIDEE provides refunds under specific circumstances. For Riders, refunds apply to wallet charges if a ride is canceled after deducting charges. In such cases, the amount will be credited back to the rider’s RIDEE wallet. For Drivers, the 5% commission deducted by RIDEE upon ride acceptance will be refunded if the ride is canceled. Refunds for completed rides are generally not provided unless required by applicable law or policy.

The referral program operates independently of refund claims. If a Rider or Driver participates in the referral program, any cashback or commission benefits awarded under the program are non-refundable once processed.

 

Refund Procedures

Users must submit refund requests through the RIDEE app or via email at [email protected]. Requests must include accurate details of the transaction, such as the ride ID, reason for the refund, and any supporting documentation. Refunds are processed based on the outcome of RIDEE’s internal review.

RIDEE reserves the right to investigate all refund claims and may require additional documentation or information to process the request. Refunds for wallet-based transactions are credited back to the RIDEE wallet, while other refunds are returned to the original payment method unless otherwise required by law.

 

Processing and Timelines

Refund requests are typically processed within three to six business days of submission. Approved refunds to bank accounts or payment methods may take an additional three to six business days to reflect, depending on the user’s financial institution. In cases where a refund request requires further investigation due to suspected fraud or disputes, RIDEE reserves the right to extend the processing time by up to 30 days.

 

Non-Refundable Charges

Certain charges are non-refundable. These include but are not limited to tolls, airport fees, government levies, and tips. No refunds are issued for no-show fees, cancellation fees, or other charges explicitly stated as non-refundable in RIDEE’s terms and conditions. Refunds related to promotional or third-party fees are also excluded unless expressly authorized by RIDEE.

 

Referral and Cashback Program

Under RIDEE’s referral program, Riders who refer others may receive cashback benefits, and Drivers who are referred may generate commission benefits for the referrer. These rewards are calculated as 20% of RIDEE’s company share from the referred driver’s rides for six months. Such benefits, once distributed, are final and non-refundable.

 

Fraud Prevention and Compliance

RIDEE employs rigorous fraud prevention measures. Refund claims flagged for suspicious activity may be escalated to RIDEE’s Anti-Fraud Team for additional review. This process may extend refund timelines but is necessary to ensure compliance with RIDEE’s security protocols. Users submitting fraudulent claims may face account suspension or termination.

 

Limited Liability

RIDEE provides its services on an “as-is” basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free processing of refunds. The liability of RIDEE for refund claims is limited to the value of the specific transaction in question. RIDEE is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from refund-related disputes.

 

Amendments to the Policy

RIDEE reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on RIDEE’s website or mobile application. Continued use of RIDEE’s services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
